The Local Authorities (Members Allowances) Regulations 2003 state that a parish council may pay a parish basic allowance to each of its members. The Regulations also provide that a parish council may pay to its members a travel and subsistence allowance including an allowance in respect of travel by bicycle or by any other non-motorised form of transport, undertaken or incurred in connection with the performance of various prescribed duties.
During the financial year 2017-2018 no councillors received the basic allowance.
No travel expenses were claimed by a councillor or the clerk during 2017-18.
The Register of Allowances may be inspected by any local government elector of the parish on application to the Clerk.
