PLEASE NOTE: Parish Council Meetings are currently being held on-line using zoom until further notice. If you wish to join a meeting, please contact the clerk via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Wingham Parish Council Meetings are usually held on the second Monday of every month except August in The Miles Room, Wingham Village Hall, from 7.30pm and immediately follow the Planning Committee meeting held from 7.10pm. This regular date may be changed if it clashes with a public holiday.
Please note that the November WPC meeting will usually start earlier at 7.20pm, as it will include a public budget session at the start of the meeting to allow residents to make comments on the forthcoming budget. The November Planning Committee meeting will also start earlier at 7pm.
The meeting is open to members of the public who may make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of the business on the agenda during the public session of the meeting. A member of the public shall not speak for more than 4 minutes, should raise their hand when requesting to speak, and direct comments to the chairman. Only one person is permitted to speak at a time. If more than one person wants to speak, the chairman of the meeting shall direct the order of speaking. A question shall not require a response at the meeting nor start a debate on the question. The chairman of the meeting may direct that a written or oral response be given.
Agendas and minutes are displayed on the Parish Council website and on the village notice boards.
